Founded in 1999, NCI Cancer Hospital (NCICH) is a specialist private oncology center based in Bandar Baru Nilai, 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur and just 15 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). NCICH is the first private cancer centre in Malaysia which provides diagnosis and treatment to cancer patients while simultaneously conduct clinical research with multinational pharmaceutical companies. It complies with the Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and has been an ISO accredited hospital since 2002.

Our primary aim is to provide high quality cancer treatment in compliance with international standards. We offer a multi-disciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of patients; and our palliative care and support services form an integral part of our care management strategy. We pledge for best patient care at NCICH and the NCI Specialist Clinics, and our dedicated and qualified staff will ensure all patients are looked after with care and compassion.

The NCI Health Screening Centre offers a wide range of screening services that cater to your specific needs. We will ensure that you are given accurate information on screening that meets international standards. We individualize the screening according to your needs, requirements and affordability. Surgical oncology is provided in the two major operating theatres.

Hospital Facilities

In moving towards a new level of core and technical competency, NCI Cancer Hospital (NCICH) expanded to include a new wing in March 2007 with additional cancer treatment facilities and equipment. There are currently 18 beds, two major operating theatres, an intensive care unit (ICU) and a research lab. The new residential wing which houses 12 rooms provides accommodation for family and friends of patients. NCICH is equipped with the state-of-the-art linear accelerator Trilogy which will provide our patients access to precision radiotherapy. NCICH will also be the first private center to have dedicated Radio-iodine and Brachytherapy treatment rooms to keep patients isolated while undergoing treatment with radio-iodine or related radio-pharmaceutical products.

The state-of-the-art medical linear accelerator at NCICH, the Trilogy will enable NCICH radiation oncologists to offer our cancer patients more targeted treatments using new methods including intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT), image guided radiotherapy (IGRT) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS). These advanced treatments will allow higher dose on tumors while protecting surrounding healthy tissue.
